for the love of cheeese | tomme crayeuse

If you say "tom cruise" with a slight french accent, this is how you pronounce this cheese. If you're local to Charlottesville, go into feast and ask them for the tom cruise cheese -- they'll get it. This is another tasty cheese, great with all those summer tomatoes! Read Sara's full review over on Beyond the Flavor.

a moment | make a wish

The last few days of summer are here. I hope you get out to enjoy some of it's goodness. I do love these days but I'm ready...bring on the crisp fall days and all the fall flavors. Below is a favorite moment from the summer. Make your end of summer wishes and I hope they come to you this next season.

doug+christina | trump vineyards

A few favs from this classic wedding at Trump Winery. Doug and Christinia, you guys are just awesome. Thank you to Kristen Gardner for having me out! Always a blast.

I love light reflections/bursts of color, especially when they're party lights!

garden wedding | mark+elena

I joined my friend, Brianne Bland, to shoot this super sweet wedding at the Strong Mansion in Maryland. Bree has just moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota which is great for Minneapolis but a total bummer for me. I loved working together and hopefully we can still make it happen despite the distance. If you know someone in that area looking for an awesome photographer, you must seek her out. You will love her and her work as much as I, no doubt.

Anyways, back to this killer garden wedding. It was just gorgeous and the light was awesome (slightly overcast with a chance of storms...kind of love this weather prediction).  Enjoy a few of my favorite selects. Thank you to Mark, Elena and Bree for having me!

for the love of cheeese | nevat

Shall we all whisk away to the Mediterranean and sip cava and nibble on cheese together...sounds lovely. Since I can't whisk away to Spain tomorrow we can daydream with this beautiful cheese. In Sara's words it's:

"so very friendly without a hint of bitterness."

Make sure you read more from her review here. Such a pretty little puff of cheese.
