I feel quite grateful. This past year I've been privileged to both photograph and attend a handful of beautifully personal weddings. Alison and Hubbel are definitely one of them. Everything about their wedding was thoughtful, easy and inspired by their love of each other and their lives. They chose Delfosse Vineyard for their weekend wedding getaway, which is this gorgeous little nook in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Virginia is so stinking gorgeous in the fall!

I agree with Dorothy Parker, autumn is fantastic. I'm loving all the little hints of fall beginning to take over summer. It's a beautiful time of year in here in Virginia, hope everyone can take a moment to get out and enjoy it!

what the hell happen to oct?

It's my favorite time of year and it goes by way too fast. There is much I want to share and plan to do so over the next few months. Virginia had it's first snow already -- not that it was much to brag about but it left me feeling all nostalgic and ready to slow down and embrace the season.
