second shooting | kristen gardner photography
I have had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Kristen Gardner some over the past few years. I have learned so much from her and am grateful for these opportunities. Kristen's presence at a shoot is calming and genuine making everyone feel comfortable with her and in their own skin. It's something I admire and strive for when I shoot. Below is a handful of images from weddings I second shot with her in 2011. Please take a moment and visit her site here.

Michal+Andrew | Washington DC Wedding
Genuine, goofy, loving, fun and eco-friendly are a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Michal and Andrew and their wedding day.
I don't know if it was the atmosphere of the Carnegie Institute of Science building, the abundance of love from family and friends or maybe it was the Radiohead song "All I Need" echoing against the walls for the processional but I had goosebumps on my arms and tears in my eyes! I was so moved by this couple. They were a perfect balance of being so in love and at the same time not taking themselves or each other too seriously. Life is good. Laugh.
Michal and Andrew--thank you for having me be a part of your Washington DC wedding! Best wishes and I look forward to hearing about your destination ceremony! : )
